Contributors to the unofficial WPS Anthology: lifeblood will be the featured readers when the Woodstock Poetry Society & Festival meets at the Colony Cafe, 22 Rock City Road, on April 14, 2012. Note: WPS&F meetings are held the 2nd Saturday of every month.

The readings will be hosted by Woodstock area poet Phillip Levine. All meetings are free, open to the public, and include an open mike.

WPS Anthology: lifeblood - Including work by members of Woodstock Poetry Society and published by Chickaree Press, “lifeblood” takes readers on an emotionally compelling journey through times of uncertainty and loss, bringing us up from sorrow into unexpected joy.

“lifeblood” features work by Phillip Levine, poetry editor of Chronogram Magazine, and such nationally-published writers as Donald Lev, Georganna Millman, Judith Saunders, and many other fine poets.
